Constant Contact was seeking solutions to make use of their success story videos in a way that engaged the user. Their sponsorship of the Tales From Main Street section on the Business Journals was an opportune place for such stories.

I created this custom ad module to draw users to the content without having to leave the page. Selecting the user’s video of interest brought up a lightbox featuring the video they selected. The goal here was not clicks, but engagements.

This resulted in the following:

  • Interaction Rate: 0.81%
  • Average time on unit: 15s
  • Average video playtime: 23s
